How to put Sleigh Night on your TV怎么把 Sleigh Night 投到电视上

Sleigh Night runs in a web browser. The host's screen goes on the TV so everyone can see the questions and results; guests play on their own phones. Pick the setup that matches what you have — most take under two minutes.

1. Plug an HDMI cable from your laptop into the TV. Newer MacBooks and many Windows laptops need a USB-C to HDMI adapter.
2. Switch the TV's input (the "Source" or "Input" button on the remote) to that HDMI port.
3. On the laptop, open sleighnight.com, start a game and click ⛶ Full screen at the top of the game screen.
4. If the TV only shows your desktop, set the display to "Mirror" (Mac: System Settings → Displays; Windows: press Win + P → Duplicate).

Most smart TVs and Fire TV sticks (using the Silk browser) can open websites. Go to sleighnight.com, choose "Start free" and the TV becomes the host screen. It's slower to type on a remote, so a laptop is easier if you have one.

You can open the host screen on a tablet or phone and mirror it to the TV (AirPlay or Chromecast). Use a different browser or device to join as a player — one browser can't be both the TV and a player.

Troubleshooting常见问题

• Guests can't scan the QR code: make the game full screen and dim the room lights a little. Guests can also type sleighnight.com and the 4-letter room code.
• The TV screen goes to sleep: plug in the laptop and turn off sleep for the evening.
• Someone's phone dropped out: they just reopen the page — they rejoin with their name and score.
• No sound: check the TV volume and that the laptop's audio goes to the TV (HDMI usually does this automatically). There's a 🔊 button on the game screen.
